Baird Sound Systems have been supplying musical instruments, accessories, sound and lighting equipment and much more since 1974.
Dedicated to serving its local community, we aim to provide expert advice and services to meet your needs.
Alongside retail we also have a large hire department. We can provide everything from a small simple system to a larger concert PA system. Our hire services provide a wide range of equipment to suit your needs from Pioneer DJ equipment, Sound Systems, Backline, Effect Lighting, Microphones and Stage Effects.

Terms of hire
Choose Baird Sound Systems for quality sound, lighting and instrument hire throughout Belfast.
Terms of agreement to hire from us:
- A valid UK driving licence is required for ID
- All equipment is paid for on collection
- A 50% deposit is required for all equipment - phone for details
- Equipment to be collected between 2pm and 4:30pm on the day
- Equipment to be returned the next day between 10am and 12:30pm - deposits may be lost for late or damaged returns
DELIVERY, SET UP AND COLLECTION SERVICE
Based on York street in North Belfast, we can offer a delivery, set up and collection service on any of our rental systems and installation for any fixed systems. Our passion is music so we take great pride in supplying you with advice and top quality equipment for all levels of abilities.
